Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 13, 2026
ShadowAI Guard provides software that helps business customers discover and govern workplace use of AI tools. This policy explains how we handle information in connection with the website, checkout, support, and product-related workflows.
Information we collect
We may collect account, contact, billing, support, device, analytics, and product configuration information. Customers may provide workplace telemetry such as DNS logs, proxy logs, secure web gateway exports, SSO metadata, department labels, tool usage records, and policy notes. Customers decide what data to submit and must ensure they have a lawful basis to provide it.
How we use information
We use information to provide the service, process checkout, secure the platform, respond to support requests, analyze product performance, prevent abuse, maintain records, and satisfy legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Employee and workplace data
Customers are responsible for configuring the service lawfully, including appropriate employee notices, consents where required, works council consultation where applicable, data minimization, retention settings, access controls, and cross-border transfer assessments. ShadowAI Guard is not a covert surveillance service and should not be used in violation of employment, privacy, labor, or sector-specific law.
Payments
Payments are processed by NOWPayments or other payment providers we may use. We receive limited transaction details needed to confirm an order, support a customer, and maintain business records. Blockchain transactions may be public and irreversible depending on the network and provider terms.
Sharing
We may share information with hosting, analytics, payment, security, support, and operational service providers under appropriate restrictions. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and security, or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed for the service, legal obligations, dispute resolution, security, and legitimate business purposes. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
Your choices
Depending on location and role, individuals may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, or request portability of personal information. Requests may be subject to verification, legal limitations, and customer controller instructions.
